Staycey Collins
Board Member
Business Owner & Founder of "Too Strong United".
A transformative leader originally from Seaside California, Staycey has been a native of Bremerton Washington for nearly 30 years. Overcoming a troubled past that eventually led to his imprisonment, Staycey’s journey mirrored the actions of individuals who were impulsive and lacked proper foresight in decision-making which led to his eventual incarceration. While incarcerated Staycey became a member of Black Prisoners Caucus (BPC), and committed to furthering his educational and "trade" experience while incarcerated. In 2022, Staycey founded Too Strong United. A culturally uniting clothing brand, and SeaBrem Property Services LLC, a local property maintenance and pressure washing company, as well as completing his goal of earning his degree through Tacoma Community College. His journey has been fueled by his desire for the betterment of his community and to prove that there are alternate routes to opportunities and successes after incarceration. In addition to his work with his "brand", Staycey decided to join the Up From Slavery Initiative movement, a further demonstration of his dedication to meaningful change and social justice.
